The horror was not in the parents’ treatment of their kids.

The fact that they could do this for 30 years without anyone even bothering or caring to check is the real horror.

Societies that give a lot of importance to ‘personal space’ and ‘individual privacy’ need to introspect about where they need to erase the line they draw.

They should have got the death penalty. Those kids will never get over that trauma.

There’s another recent case with 16 children involved, once these were considered the outliers now seems to becoming more common place!!!

I vividly recall this story.

All anyone needs to do is look at the dad’s haircut to determine he is abnormal.

This was hard to read about at the time it hit the news. It’s just as stomach-turnings now. What is the point of this 8 yrs later other than self notoriety for your journalistic skills. I’m not reading this. Instead I am blocking you from polluting my airwaves.

maybe because some people aren't aware??? i didn't know this, some people wouldn't know this, i was 7 in 2018, so there would be people who are unaware, and people should be aware of abuse

no need to announce your departure, it’s just substack.

How can they go for 30 years and 12 kids without someone noticing.

Maybe they moved when neighbors got too inquisitive

I'm always amazed at how two monsters like this find each other.
