There was a good movie about this, Sid and Nancy.

What a contrast to John Lydon - who I think is a very intelligent and interesting man. This is another one of those cases where the truth is highly unlikely to emerge .

I just wanted to mention the book written by Nancy's mother. It's quite sad. She chronicles how difficult Nancy was, even as a baby. She caused pain to herself, to her family, and there didn't seem to be any way to reach her. Recommended.

Just think of all the brilliant musicians who dedicated themselves to their craft who will never be known. And everyone knows this idiot.

Great article. I remember watching a movie based on this story.

That whole punk rock thing turned me off. Untalented ignorant rude people.

He was one of the defining faces of a short-lived musical and cultural movement, and came to define it by also being short-lived.
