On November 22, 1963, while traveling with his motorcade through Dallas Texas, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States was assassinated. This was a watershed moment in the history of the country. Those who were alive at the time and old enough to remember it can tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.
Almost immediately, rumors and speculation began to swirl about who was behind the plot, as well as possible motives. In fact, it was in the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) coined the term “Conspiracy Theory” as a way to silence anyone who dared to stray from the official narrative that Lee Harvey Oswald acted completely alone and decided to kill the President because….reasons.
