One picture said one of the rapists had a learning disability, which would indicate since the charge of statutory rape was not dropped he had an I.Q of 80 or that of a 16-year old. This would also indicate he was taken advantage of by the rest of the group, and thus should be given a lessened sentence then what he got. Given it is implied there were multiple statutory rapes over a period of time, we can assume the group peer pressured the murder victim in drinking, and due to the group being teens and post-adolescents who engaged in reckless behaviour this implies they got blackout drunk repeatedly, hence the rapes. Thus I think all the charges of statutory rape should be dropped... and all the killers sent to be enslaved on a prison farm, a prison factory, or a prison mine. Alternatively, they could be sent to a Soviet-style punishment battalion and used to clear minefields by walking across them or be used for the most dangerous missions.
This is a very tragic story and beyond comprehension. How on earth was a little girl even allowed to hang around these clearly deranged adults in the first place. I have no words.
