Ironic how the legal system allows Nathaniel to be released.

The murders did not fit the usual profile: it ranged from post-adolescents to pubescents, indicating these were crimes of opportunity as well as being motivated by power (again, rape is not about sex) and social cleansing. Hatred of white people due to the social deprivation theory of crime is also a factor, and Nathaniel bonded with his brother because affluent whites were the outgroup which was oppressing their ingroup. The sex crimes and murders were spree crimes rather than serial crimes, which is why they do not fit the profile of serial killers but rather that of school shooters and such. The brothers were not as insecure as serial child killers and rapists, since their targets varied: they did not go after pubescents for the purpose of maximum power, but committed sex crimes at girls and women based purely on opportunity, implying the factors of power, social cleansing, and social deprivation resulting in anti-Western sentiment were also factors. When reading the article, I realized the reason many sex crimes in documentaries and literature like your newsletter are sexual assault rather than rape is because such things as hitting or clawing the genitals, anus, or chests are variations of thuggery like damaging the testicles and penis, which again shows sex crimes are not about sex but power.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but this fits with how Freud called the Marquis de Sade "the first great theorist of sexuality" since the BDSM murders and over-the-top fetishes reflect the death and life instincts conflicting with each other and the failure to achieve the pleasure principle through the oral stage, hence the oral sex, coprophagy, and such. It also fits with how the Marquis de Sade inspired Nietzsche, with Nietzsche pointing out individuals use exploitation of things to gain pleasure and the pleasures of different individuals conflict; de Sade also inspired the French Revolution and Turgenev, with the French Revolution using Gothicism and a pursuit of the opportunities of the individual and the mob, and Turgenev rejecting any social construct like morality which was not found in the wild where rape, killings, and gross practices like coprophagy in dogs and cats are common, or even in decentralized confederal communities like indigenous peoples or the brutal frontiersmen in the rough-and-tough American West or the maritime fur trade. The fact this behaviour was common in the ancien regime of Europe which de Sade was a part of despite the fact statistically there is NO WAY more than 1% were psychopaths or 29% on the antisocial spectrum but not being psychopaths also backs up the idea sex crimes are about power and opportunity (the ancien regime could easily have heterodox sex acts with their servants and kill them in BDSM) with social cleansing also playing a minor role (since the Sadeans did not care about morality but had disregard for the poor and to a lesser degree servants for being dumb enough to believe the bigoted Christian propaganda the ancien regime controlled the poor with).

Hatred of outgroups also played a role, since the ancien regime were descended from PAGAN Frankish nobility, the servants were descended from servants who were Franks, and the poor from Gallo-Romans, poverty-stricken Germanophones (including Franks) and poverty-stricken Italic and non-Italic peoples. Anyways the brothers seemed to lack stable parental influence, which is why they became the timocratic man of Plato, wanting power and thrills over others, and the glory of social cleansing and eliminating the tyrannical outgroup in the name of God (the outgroup being the tyrannical man of Plato who took the pleasures of the degenerate people for himself, promising security through force and also made the people prosperous: i.e. the American Dream). As I am writing this I realized the tyrannical man and the timocratic man both have similarities to the Sadeans, as do direct democrats.

An interesting insight, yes there are many different factors at play here.
